    Bonjour,

    Super Programme.
    Fonctionne très bien sur un “HP-Mini-210-3050ez”.
    Après avoir configuré ce Netbook pour ma fille je me suis attaqué au fond d’écran. J’ai cru pouvoir le changer en remplaçant le fichier “img0.jpg” sous “C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows”. Après cette manip je n’avais plus de fond d’écran, tout était noir. Un recherche sur Google m’a fait découvrir votre Site.

    The best fix ever!
    I mean serious? Why would you disable a feature like this?
    Disabling features like this makes me wanna move to linux or other alternatives!

    After sitting for a minute trying to decide if this was a virus or not, I downloaded it and SOO glad I did. Thank you sooo very much. Something as simple as changing the background makes all the difference in the world!

    My daughter was so upset that she couldn’t change the desktop image on her acer netbook – shame on Microsoft for disabling something so basic. They know that most netbook users are kids.

    This is a great start to finally be able to use some basic features of normal Windows 7 instead of having us upgrade to the regular version at a large price.
    Most e-notebooks do not have the extra 2-gig ram normally required.
    In my case I removed the Sony 1-gig ram and replaced with a 2-gig card.
    A big difference in ones available memory.
    Now I can show my granddaughter her favourite penguins as a backdrop.

    il est étonnant! Je vis dans un pays soi-disant nouvelles et j’ai été très en colère à propos de cette limitation de Windows 7 Starter. Votre logiciel a bien fonctionné et le seul obstacle était de savoir comment faire un don sans un numéro de carte.

    Would like to see a paid version with no googld ads or the option to get google ads at least in english. Mine come up in french and it quite annoying. Otherwise fantastic little application, love it. Thanks

    Hi!

    I am sorry for my english. I dont speak english so much.
    I downloaded this program. It’s perfect.
    A days ago I changed my ”windows 7 started” for ”windows ultimate”.
    With this program I cant choose my wallpaper, because I have installed ”started background”. When I try uninstall the program, Says ”fatal error”. and I dont use this program, because It dont running in windows ultimated. . So ..¿ How do I for delete this program, without reinstall the operating system?

    At first, I did download from
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/starterchangebg/

    But it didn’t work for me, ( unable to read registry-something like, when trying to change image ), but then I picked up v. 07 from here, and that did “the magic” :O)

Software Starter Background Changer
Have you just bought or has one just offered a netbook to you? Does this netbook have Windows 7 Starter edition? Do you seek still how to change your walpaper? It is normal, since the Starter edition of Windows 7 does not make it possible to change the walpaper, nor the color of the taskbar. Will idiot say to me? it is Windows! You will have to spend 80$ to pass on the higher edition in order to modify your walpaper. Get my freeware...
